Vincent O’Grady Obituary, Funeral Information of Vincent O’Grady Death

Vincent O’Grady Obituary, Death – The family of the late Vincy O’Grady, who resided in Camlough and passed away quietly at home on the 31st of December 2022, would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who consoled and supported them during our recent time of loss. Vincy passed away peacefully at home on that date. Many thanks to everyone who visited the house and paid their respects. Thank you very much for the kind donations made to The Friends and Family of Rathore School in lieu of flowers, as well as the Mass Offerings, cards, flowers, and words of sympathy that were given.

We owe an enormous debt of gratitude to everyone who helped with the hospitality during the viewing and funeral, as well as to those who brought food to the house. During the course of Daddy’s illness, the Palliative Care Team (Bessbrook), District Nurses, and the medical, nursing, radiology, and radiotherapy staff at both Daisy Hill Hospital and the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, care, compassion, and support for both Daddy and his family. We want to offer our sincere gratitude to all of these individuals.

For the care and support they have provided us over the past few years, we would also like to extend our gratitude to Dr. McKinley and the rest of the staff at Cornmarket Surgery (Camlough/Newry), as well as the team at Meigh Pharmacy. Many thanks go out to Father Sean Larkin for his assistance, prayers, and the celebration of the Requiem Mass. Also, many thanks go out to everyone else who participated in the Mass, especially Bronach and Grace for the beautiful music that they provided.

In addition, I would like to express my gratitude to the Management and Staff of the Flagstaff Lodge for the refreshments that were provided following the Funeral. In conclusion, I would like to express my gratitude to McGennity Funeral Directors for all of their assistance, direction, and the respectful manner in which they handled the funeral arrangements.

Given that it is physically impossible for us to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgment can serve as a sufficient representation of our gratitude and appreciation. St. Malachy’s Church in Carrickcruppen will be the location of the celebration of Vincy’s Months Mind Mass on Saturday, the 28th of January at 7.30 pm. I pray that he finds eternal rest.
