Stan Herzog Obituary, Death – Tragically and unexpectedly, Stan Herzog of Missouri passed away, leaving behind a grieving family and many friends. In 1969, Stanley Herzog and his father, “Bill,” established William E. Herzog Enterprises, Inc. Stanley Herzog served as president and chairman of the board of Herzog Contracting Corporation and William E. Herzog Enterprises, Inc. Throughout his career, he worked his way up through the ranks by taking on several managerial and operational roles. Stan held the inaugural role in the company. Shortly after starting at the firm, he was promoted to the position of foreman, where his primary responsibility was to supervise asphalt paving projects. Stan had the most stock in the company and was also the employee who had been there the longest.
Hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family were some of his favorite pastimes, but he also enjoyed being outdoors and doing just about anything. The deaths of Stanley’s parents, sister, Meredith Herzog Current, and stepfather, Robert Niemeyer, all preceded his own. Aside from his brother Randy Herzog, his stepmother Trish Herzog, and the mother of his children, Teresa Herzog, he is survived by his children Laurel Herzog-Woods (Andrew) and Jacob Herzog (Sarah), as well as his grandchildren Owen, Grace, and Evan. The mother of his children also predeceases him. His extended family includes not just the Herzog companies and their affiliates, but also a significant number of nieces and nephews.
