Sinzae Reed Columbus OH, Suspect arrested for fatal shooting of 13-year-old boy in Hilltop neighborhood

Sinzae Reed Obituary, Death – On Thursday, the person who is accused of shooting and killing a young child who was 13 years old in the Hilltop area was brought into custody. The incident occurred in that region. On Wednesday around 5:45 p.m., there was an incident that took place on the 800 block of Wedgewood Drive, as stated by the information that was provided by the Columbus Division of Police. When the police arrived, they discovered Sinzae Reed, who was only 13 years old at the time, lying shot in the street.

When he was sent to the OhioHealth Doctors Hospital to receive treatment for his injuries, he was in a severe state when he arrived there. Reed was unable to recover from the injuries he sustained and passed away a little under an hour later.
Krieg Butler, who was 36 at the time, allegedly fired multiple bullets at Reed, striking him multiple times, as stated in the records that were presented in the case. It was reported by the Special Weapons and Tactics unit of the Columbus Division of Police that the authorities were successful in capturing Butler. The court documents that were submitted indicate that Butler has been charged with the crime of murder.

Sinzae D. Reed’s parents are Megan Reed and Louis Snowden, and she is currently 13 years old. Sinzae D. Reed has a belt full of years under her belt. On October 12, 2022, Sinzae departed from this world to a better place.

He was more comfortable being known to as Zay, and among of his favorite things to do were listening to music and playing video games. Snowfall and Power were two of his favorite shows that he would watch whenever he would turn on the television. Zay has been furthering his knowledge by taking courses on the internet in addition to attending classes at Columbus Kipp. When he wasn’t being disciplined, he tried to spend as much time as he could hanging out with his friends and family and laughing it up. Zay, there are a lot of individuals who will really miss having you around. We love you.
