Saul Feldberg Obituary, Founder Of The Global Furniture Group and Teknion Corporation Dies at 87

Saul Feldberg Obituary, Death – I was saddened to learn of Saul Feldberg’s death. He was a worldwide industry leader. He founded The Global Furniture Group and Teknion Corporation in York Centre with his wife, Toby Feldberg. Saul was also extremely selfless, receiving the Order of Canada for his philanthropy.
My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones. Feldberg, Saul On Friday, January 13, 2023, he died surrounded by his family. He was 87. Born in Poland, Saul immigrated to Canada in 1953. He founded The Global Furniture Group in 1966 and Teknion Corp in 1983 with his wife, Toby, and grew them into global leaders in office and institutional furniture. Furthermore, Saul founded. The Milestone Group in 1989 and grew it into a market leader in commercial, industrial, and retail property management. He began sweeping floors in a small furniture business at a young age and rose through the ranks.

He began Global with a few employees and gradually expanded the company with a diverse group of people who surrounded Saul with love, respect, and loyalty. Saul instilled in the companies a strong sense of values such as treating everyone with respect, hard work and determination, acting quickly and decisively, and constantly improving and driving forward. In 2018, he was rightfully awarded the Order of Canada. Saul believed in giving back to society through numerous philanthropic activities in far too many fields to list. His kindness was limitless. He had an unsurpassed love of Israel and invested heavily in all aspects of Israeli life. Saul understood that success entailed more than just financial gain. His love and devotion to his family and friends will be remembered by future generations. Saul’s reputation was impeccable in business, family, and life.

There has never been a single negative word said about him. For over 65 years, Toby Feldberg’s beloved husband was Saul. David and Elyssa’s loving father and father-in-law, Bernie, Janice and Jeff, and Joel and Melissa. Phil Feldberg’s late brother; and brother-in-law of Lily Elsner, Bob Ritter, and Rochelle Feldberg. Alexa and Dustin, Jordy and Daniel, Jake, Ashley, Sydney, Dylan, Reese, Jay, Eden, and Lucy are his devoted grandchildren. Grandfather to Ivy, Elliot, Jack, Asher, Lev, and Tommy. Abraham and Eva Feldberg’s devoted son. On Monday, January 16, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., at Beth Emeth Bais Yehuda Synagogue, 100 Elder Street, Toronto. Interment at Mount Sinai Memorial Park in the Jewish Canadian Veteran’s Memorial Park Association section. Shiva will be watched in private.
