Sal Bando Obituary, Death – Following Sal Bando’s demise on Friday, the Baseball Hall of Fame has made the decision to honor his career by inducting him into the Hall of Fame. This will be done in celebration of his legacy. During his time with the Oakland Athletics, Bando led the team to three World Series victories and served as captain of the team.
