Ryan Furtick Obituary, Death – Ryan Furtick of Columbia, South Carolina died in a fatal car accident. On March 9th, he was born in the city of Columbia, which is located in the state of South Carolina. Both of his parents had passed away before he was born; Ryan Jackson “Jack” Furtick, Jr. and Doris Sue Lott Furtick were his parents. He was named after his father. He received his diplomas from Brookland Cayce High School and Palmer Business College, both of which he attended. He is a successful businessman. In addition to serving in the South Carolina Air National Guard, he was the proprietor of Sandy Run Farms, a family-owned and -operated on-farm dairy processing business.
In addition to that, he served in the Air National Guard for the state of South Carolina. Because of the All-Jersey chocolate milk, ice cream, and eggnog that he produced, his grandchildren referred to him simply as “Pop,” and he became well-known for his culinary creations. He was a devout follower of the United Methodist Church and took on the role of a lay leader within the congregation on multiple occasions. Additionally, he attended services at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Swansea, which is located in South Carolina. Two of the most important things that Ryan has accomplished in his life are the founding of the Sandy Run Station 31 Volunteer Fire Department and his membership as a founding member in the Sandy Run Rural Water District.
Both of these things can be counted among Ryan’s most significant accomplishments. During the thirty-five years and three decades that Ryan spent working as a volunteer firefighter at Station 31, he rose through the ranks to become Chief and was promoted to Fire Marshall. During the time that Ryan lived on earth, he was known for his unwavering commitment to his religion, his family, and his friends. This served as a defining characteristic of Ryan’s life.
Nora Ann Raley Furtick, his wife of 46 years, his daughter Leigh Ann Furtick Randall, as well as his son-in-law and daughter-in-law all survive him. Dr. Daniel Christian Randall, his grandsons William Furtick Randall and Hampton Teague Randall, his sisters and brothers-in-law, Jerome and Ryan Raley, John and Joanne Raley, and Bonnie and Larry Jordan, as well as a large number of nieces and nephews, are some of the people who will carry on his legacy after his passing.
