Ruby Furey Obituary, Death – We are sorry to be the ones to break the news to you all about Ruby Furey’s departure. She has decided to leave us. She was an exceptional human being. Please accept our sincere condolences; they are extended to every one of you individually. Because of the significant amount of time and effort that Ruby has put into the Canterbury Baseball Club during the period of her membership there, the club has decided to honor her by making her a life member of the organization. Her work for the organization as a social volunteer and canteen manager was very beneficial to the club, and as a result, the club reaped a lot of rewards from her efforts.
It is unfathomable that the club could have progressed to the point it has reached without her participation and aid.
Because of everything she has done to help the club and baseball in general, we would like to use this opportunity to express our gratitude to her for all of the work that she has done. We would want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to her while also extending our deepest sympathies to the Furey family. This is a perfect time for us to express our gratitude for all that you have done for us, so please accept our thanks now.
A moment of quiet was held in remembrance of Ruby before today’s games at McLaughlin to commemorate the enormous contributions that she made to the club and the greater baseball community in general. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 16, at 2:15 p.m. at The Lodge Chapel, Woronora Park, which can be found in Sutherland at 121 Linden Street. Those who would like to attend the memorial ceremony in order to express their condolences to the deceased person’s family are more than welcome to do so. Those in attendance will be given the opportunity to pay their respects to the deceased person.
