Ronald Gradwell Death, Obituary – Ronald Douglas (Bill) Gradwell, who had lived in Amalinda his entire life, died peacefully on January 8, 2023, at the age of 90. He was commonly known as “Bill.” Joy, his beloved wife, and the couple’s children Gail and Joy have all expressed their condolences and profound sense of loss to him. Thora and her family, including Dave, Dougie, and Marianne, Helen and Victor, Andrew and Lulu, Ann and Hansie, and Thora’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
This group also includes Thora, Dave’s sister, and a group member. A Celebration Service will be held at the Greenfields Methodist Church on Jan Smuts Avenue in Greenfields, East London, on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at ten a.m. This memorial service will be held in his honor. Strict confidentiality will be maintained at all stages of the cremation procedure. Ron graduated from North Schuylkill High School in 1970. Ron graduated from high school in the year in question.
He was entrusted with the responsibility of serving his country as a member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Ron works as a General Contractor and Roofer in addition to being a co-owner of Frackville Coin. In other words, he works two jobs. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at his favorite hangouts, as well as playing golf and collecting Lionel trains. He also had a Lionel train collection. He was the life and soul of any party, and everyone enjoyed conversing with him due to his unique sense of humor.
One of Ron’s surviving daughters, Sheila, is married to Jason Quick and lives in Gordon. Jenna Gradwell of Pottsville and John Pierce Jr. of Gordon, who is also Peggy’s husband and lives in Gordon. Pierce is Jenna’s and John’s surname. Peggy lives in Gordon as well. Both of these people have ties to the Gordon community. His grandchildren include Novah, Ezra, Scarlett, Koda, Kaeli, Abigail, and Jacob, as well as his children and spouse, his niece Nicole Anthony, and his nephew John Pierce III. His niece Nicole Anthony and nephew John Pierce III survive him. His niece Nicole Anthony and nephew John Pierce III will carry on his legacy in his absence.
