Rodney Wilson Obituary, Death – Rodney, Mr. Eugene Wilson, who is now 60 years old and lives in Deputy, Indiana, was born on August 28, 1961, in Carrollton, Kentucky. He was the devoted son of Delmer Marshall and Donna Jean Mahoney Wilson, both of whom passed away in 2007. Delmer Marshall and Donna Jean Mahoney Wilson were his parents. He spent his childhood in Bedford, Kentucky, and had his high school education at Trimble County High School, from which he graduated in 1981. He wed Thelma Fox Short on the 30th of June, 1993, in the town of Milton, Kentucky.
They relocated to Jefferson County, Indiana, in the year 2000, and he eventually reached retirement age in 2013, having worked for Arvin Meritor Industries in Columbus for a total of 28 years. In addition to being an avid follower of John Wayne, he enjoyed a variety of activities such as hunting, fishing, gardening, and watching the Hallmark Channel. After a protracted bout with multiple sclerosis, Rodney passed away on August 3, 2022, at 7:19 p.m. in the Norton King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Indiana. He had been a patient there for a number of years.

Rodney Wilson is survived by his wife of 29 years, Thelma Fox Short Wilson of Deputy, Indiana; his brother, Roger Wilson and his wife Ranie of Madison, Indiana; his sister, Robin Welty, and her husband Travis of Bedford, Kentucky; his step-sons, Tim Fox and his wife Amanda of Columbus, Indiana, and Eric Short and his wife Misty of Madison, Indiana; his step-grandchildren, Layla, Lanie, Brelyn, and Erica; and his step-great-grandchildren, Kayson
THE FUNERAL AND RECEPTION
On Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 1:30 p.m., Pastor Nathan Grissom will preside over the funeral service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, which is located at 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. The final resting site of the deceased will be at the Mahoney Cemetery in Bedford, Kentucky.
