Rodney Blackburn Obituary, Death – Rodney Blackburn of Ottawa, Ontario has sadly passed away on December 0, 2022. Rod was born on October 13 in the city of West Anaheim in the state of California. His parents were named Robert “Bob” Blackburn and Sue Blackburn. He was the second of a total of five children in the family. He spent the majority of his boyhood in the town of Wellington, Utah, and he graduated from Carbon High School in Price, which is located in the nearby city of Price, Utah. After tying the knot with Renee Rogers in March of 1996, he was recognized by the court as the biological father of her two children, Heather and Paul.

They decided to end their marriage after some time had passed. After Rod and Ronda Gurr Johnson married the wedding on April 12, 2014, they were blessed with the arrival of their daughter, Paisley. Rod is now Paisley’s father. They were only able to have one kid, a son who they named Rodney Chase “Chase,” and he was the pride and joy of his father’s life. Rod enjoyed going softball camping on the beach, spending time with his family, and hanging out with his friends. These were some of his favorite activities to do. Spending time in the great outdoors and going hunting with his brothers and nephews was one of his favorite things to do in his leisure time.

The day that he would be able to take his son Chase hunting with them was one that he looked forward to with great excitement. He spent the majority of his working life in the oil fields. This was his primary occupation. Rod is survived by his wife Ronda, his children Heather, Paul, Paisley, and Chase; his mother Sue; his siblings Scott (Alayna) Blackburn, Susan (Rex) Potter, Ryan Blackburn (Celestia), and Shawna Blackburn (Scott Rouleau); as well as a large number of nieces and nephews. Rod also leaves behind a large number of cousins and other relatives. Before he was born, all of his relatives, including his maternal and paternal grandparents, his father Bob, and his brother-in-law Devin Guymon, had already passed away.
