Robin Perini Obituary, Death– After a brief battle with sickness, Robin Lynn Perini passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on Monday, March 29, 1965 in Boulder, Colorado, and she went away on that date.
She had a wonderful academic career and was an exceptional swimmer while she was growing up in Hobbs, New Mexico. She was the top student in her high school class and graduated as valedictorian in 1983. She also swam competitively and held the school record for the backstroke for 15 years.
After graduating from high school, Robin continued her education at the University of Oklahoma, where she got a degree in Biochemistry. Following her graduation with Highest Honors, she enrolled in the University of New Mexico’s Medical School for a total of three years before making the decision that she wanted a more varied way of life.
Her love of writing led to the publication of sixteen mystery and romantic novels during her career. The novels in question have collectively moved more than a million copies. During this time, she completed the requirements for her master’s degree in Business Management Technology. Sandia Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico has been the site of her full-time employment for the past few years.
In addition to several aunts, uncles, and cousins, Robin is survived by her father, Dale, who resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico; her brother, Steve (Jodi); her nieces, Haley Lynn and Lanie Grace; and her nephew, Hayden Dale; all of whom reside in Fayetteville, Georgia; and her father. It was only 20 days before her own passing that her mother, Karen Carder Perini, passed away.
Her grandparents Armando and Hazel Perini, who lived in Carlsbad, New Mexico, and Earl and Gennie Carder, who lived in Paoli, Oklahoma, passed away before she did as well.
The Memorial Service for Robin will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church located in Albuquerque, New Mexico at 4601 Juan Tabo Blvd, NE.
