Robert Harvey Obituary, Staff Of Lockhart Police department, Has Died

Robert Harvey Obituary, Death – Bob Harvey was born on August 31, 1960, in the town of Ottawa, which is located in the state of Illinois. Kenneth and Elenora Harvey were his parents. He was their child. He was the son of his parents. He was born and raised in Marseilles, Illinois, and has lived his whole life there. He has never lived elsewhere. He called that place home as a child and throughout his adult life. In 2007, he packed his belongings and relocated to Texas to be closer to his folks. He’s been in Texas ever since. He had spent the preceding 14 years of his life on the outskirts of Lockhart, Texas, before relocating within the city’s nominal city borders. On January 15, 2023, he was stolen from us far too soon when we had only begun to get to know him.

When he arrives, he will be greeted by his cherished daughter Kelly and the rest of his children, including Dennis, Janet, Stephen, and David. Many people will miss Bob after his death, including his longtime friend and ex-wife Carol Harvey of Lockhart, his daughter CJ (Chad) Jakel of Lockhart, and his son Kenneth Harvey of Lockhart. Everyone who was present will miss him greatly after he has left. Grandpa Joe leaves behind three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Clarke, Callen, and Conway. It has been found that the voice on the other end of the 911 line in the City of Lockhart that was normally steady and calm has been muted. Bob’s CV clearly demonstrates that he has always been driven by a great desire to help others.

He has spent the last 19 years working as a nuclear security guard training and volunteering as an emergency medical technician in his leisure time. He has also worked as a nuclear security guard in the past. In addition, he has worked as an instructor for employees who guard nuclear installations. Bob’s final 14 years were spent working as a 911 dispatcher at the Lockhart Police Department, where he had spent the majority of his life. He shown an unbelievable degree of dedication as an employee and as a guide since he was so passionate about the work that he did. Bob will be missed not only by his family, friends, and coworkers in the emergency services (including 911 operators, police officers, emergency medical technicians, and firemen), but also by everyone else whose life was brightened by his quick wit and easygoing personality.

On January 28, 2023, at ten a.m., a memorial service will be held at the Connections Center in Lockhart, Texas, in memory of the departed. Instead of sending flowers or making a monetary tribute, the family asks that you give your loved ones a few extra hugs in memory of Grandpa Joe. Thank you for taking the time to review my request. They thank you in advance for honoring their request and performing this wonderful act. Because Bob is such a wonderful person on top of being a dispatcher, I have always looked forward to our conversations as well as the work we have done together. Because of his positive attitude and willingness to have fun, the shift would go by much faster than it would have otherwise. Please accept my heartfelt condolences, not only on behalf of the family, but also on behalf of the Department. Bob, rest in peace…..
