Rob Bootsma Obituary, Death – After learning of Rob Bootsma’s death, everyone in the Shire’s Bush Fire Brigade felt a profound sense of loss. Rob was the Rosa Brook Bush Fire Brigade’s Deputy Chief Bush Fire Control Officer from 2008 to 2011, the Rosa Brook Bush Fire Brigade’s Chief Bush Fire Control Officer from 2011 to 2013, and the Rosa Brook Bush Fire Brigade’s Deputy Chief Bush Fire Control Officer from 2011 until his death. Rob was a member of the Rosa Brook Bush Fire Brigade until his death.
Rob was an active member of the Rosa Brook Bush Fire Brigade at the time of his death. Rob was able to pursue his lifelong interest in emergency services thanks to his most recent job as the Shire of Nannup’s Community Emergency Services Manager. This job allowed Rob to pursue an interest in which he has had a lifelong fascination. Because of his job, Rob was able to pursue this interest further. Rob was a larger-than-life figure who was always ready with a smile and a wise word, and those who had the chance to spend time with him will remember him fondly for these qualities.
