Rob Bootsma Obituary, Death – After learning of Rob Bootsma’s death, everyone in the Shire’s Bush Fire Brigade felt a profound sense of loss. Because Rob was such a highly respected member of the Bush Fire Brigade, his death left everyone in the brigade with a profound sense of loss. The Shire extends its heartfelt sympathies to Rob’s family members Barbara, Hannah, and Gabrielle, as well as the Rosa Brook Fire Brigade. In this difficult time, the people of the Shire send their heartfelt condolences.

We want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Please be assured that we are thinking of you. Rob was the Rosa Brook Bush Fire Brigade’s Deputy Chief Bush Fire Control Officer from 2008 to 2011, the Rosa Brook Bush Fire Brigade’s Chief Bush Fire Control Officer from 2011 to 2013, and the Rosa Brook Bush Fire Brigade’s Deputy Chief Bush Fire Control Officer from 2011 until his death. Rob was a member of the Rosa Brook Bush Fire Brigade until his death.

Rob was an active member of the Rosa Brook Bush Fire Brigade at the time of his death. Rob was able to pursue his lifelong interest in emergency services thanks to his most recent job as the Shire of Nannup’s Community Emergency Services Manager. This job allowed Rob to pursue an interest in which he has had a lifelong fascination. Because of his job, Rob was able to pursue this interest further. Rob was a larger-than-life figure who was always ready with a smile and a wise word, and those who had the chance to spend time with him will remember him fondly for these qualities.

Very sad for the family. My deepest sympathy to you Barbara, Hannah, and Gabby.  Everyone will be mourning his death in their own special way.
