Riley Kunz Obituary, Death – At the time of her departure on January 4, 2023, Riley Ann Kunz, who was 25 years old and a resident of Chicago, passed away. On August 19, 1997, her parents, Bjorn and Gianna Kunz rejoiced in the arrival of their daughter into the world. Riley, a young lady with a good heart and a bright future, graduated from Prairie Ridge High School in 2016 and went on to continue her education. Even as a little child, she possessed a remarkable sense of humor and an active sense of interest in the world around her.
Riley was a young guy who was not only very bright and sensitive, but also exceptionally polite, intellectual, and charming. She showed extraordinary skill in the arts and literature from a very young age, and she found beauty everywhere she looked. She was able to draw creativity from any situation. Riley was a voracious reader who also liked the pastimes of shopping and fashion as well as the arts of music, dancing, visiting concerts and music festivals, and participating in all of these activities.
She held a deep concern for the welfare of animals as well as the advancement of women’s rights. Because Riley has a talent that allowed her to speak with almost anyone, she was able to do so. Riley will be remembered by her parents, Bjorn and Gianna; her twin sister, Andie (and her fiancé, Shane Meehan); her sisters Alexx Kunz and Sydney (and her husband, Robert) Schultz; her nephew and niece, Paul and Berlin Schultz; her grandparents, Norbert and Aud Kunz and Herbert and Renee Greksa; her aunt, Chako Kunz and cousins, Franklin and Emmett Mull; her aunt, Michelle Rzen Additionally, Riley’s loving extended family, as well as her treasured friends, will miss having her presence in their midst greatly.
On Thursday, January 12, beginning at 4 p.m. and continuing until the time of service at 7:30 p.m., a memorial visitation will be held at the Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, which is located in Crystal Lake at 419 E. Terra Cotta Avenue. The service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation.
