Richard Lasher Obituary, Mount St. Helens, Richard Lasher Has Sadly Passed Away

Richard Lasher Obituary, Death – Richard Lasher, who lived in Rotterdam, New York, went away unexpectedly on Sunday in the home that he shared with his family. Richard Lasher was the son of Richard Lasher, Sr. and Marlene (Meca) Lasher, both of whom passed away before their son’s birth. Richard was born on July 13, 1957, in the city of Schenectady. Richard was born in Scotia, and he attended Scotia-Glenville High School until he graduated in 1976. Richard spent his youth in Scotia. Richard graduated with the class of 1976 and is a member of that class. Although he spent the majority of his life in Scotia, he ultimately settled down in Rotterdam as his permanent residence.

Richard eventually returned to school after spending the majority of his life working in the construction industry as a carpenter. Both BOCES and a vocational school were necessary for him to complete his education and become a licensed practical nurse. Richard has worked as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for a number of different companies throughout the course of his career, including Sunnyview, Ellis, Conifer Park, and, most recently, Medical Staffing Network. When he had some free time, Richard enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities like hunting and fishing, as well as gambling at local casinos.

In his youth, Richard engaged in a wide range of athletic pursuits, one of which was going bowling at Rolling Greens with his brother, Jeff. In addition to that, he was a water enthusiast who enjoyed spending time in Lake Champlain going swimming, boating, and spending time there in general. Richard was a pious Catholic who placed a high level of faith in the efficacy of prayer and lived his life accordingly.

In addition, as a manifestation of his religion, saying grace before meals was something that he considered to be of the utmost importance. Richard’s family and friends will remember him as a loving and compassionate brother, father, and grandfather as they think back on his life. The most cherished brother of Jeff (Sandy) Lasher and Michele Lasher Pattee, and the doting father and grandfather to Shannon (Eric) Young and Drake Young.
