Richard Holdsworth Obituary, Death – The devastating news that Richard “Tubby” Holdsworth had passed on the day before has left all of us in a state of profound pain. Richard “Tubby” Holdsworth was not only an invaluable friend but also a devoted customer of our business for many years. Since I’ve been a regular at The King William, and for many years before I came, he’s been a staple in the cast of personalities that have been frequenting this establishment the entire time. This place has been around for a very long time.
People will remember him most for his fantastic singing voice (which he only occasionally showed off! ), his sense of humor and his warmth, and of course, his pickled onions. We would like Sandra and her family to know that they are in our thoughts and that we extend our most sincere sympathies to them during this difficult time. We are here to shower Sandra and her family with love and support while we are here. What a remarkable individual, I could talk to him for hours on end without getting tired of it, and I wouldn’t mind at all! You, Tubby, are going to be sorely missed by many people in this world.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Sandra and all of her family members during this difficult time. Someone who lived a life that was genuinely remarkable and who will be missed in the most profound way imaginable. During this difficult time, please accept my deepest condolences on behalf of Sandra and her family. xx Richard and I worked together at the same company for a while. Tubby was known to everyone at Icon simply as “Tubby,” and he preferred to be referred to by this name. When we were younger, we spent a lot of amazing moments together, including some unforgettable journeys and exciting evenings out. Those times are some of the best memories I have of my childhood.
