Richard Brown Obituary, Death – Because Richard Brown has spent his whole life serving in some way for the Harrisonville Fire Company, the company has bestowed upon him the distinction of life membership in recognition of his decades-long commitment to the organization. As his family and friends grieve his passing and share the news of his passing with one another, the Harrisonville Fire Company wants his loved ones and friends to know that they are thinking of them and sending their heartfelt condolences. Mr. Brown’s coworkers thought so highly of him that they wanted to honor him with a name that matched the respect that they had for him, so they gave him the nickname Brownie
He never got tired of telling stories while at the same time keeping an infectious smile on his face the whole time. Everyone in the group is going to miss him enormously, both for his physical presence and for the lovable manner in which he handled himself throughout his life. The group will miss him both for his physical presence and for the manner in which he carried himself during his life. Both of these qualities contributed to the allure that he exuded to those around him. Others were drawn to him because of them. Richard’s career spanned seven decades, and throughout that time, he was committed to his field in a variety of executive and operational capacities. Richard’s professional life covered the entirety of seven decades. He relocated to South Harrison Township in January of 1946, and he became a member of our department in 1953, after we had recruited him the previous year. Prior to that, we had recruited him the year before. 1998 was the year that he was promoted to the position of Chief of the Department, which he held after having served for a considerable amount of time as an Assistant Chief. In addition to that, he held the position of Assistant Chief for a considerable amount of time. In addition to that, during his time at the department, he served in the role of Assistant Chief of the department. A painting that shows him and stresses his role as a founding father of the company was finished not too long ago, and it was mounted on the wall of the fire station not too long after it was finished. The photograph is visible in the background of the photo. The mural that was painted at the fire station may now be seen hanging on one of the walls there
