Ray Whalley Obituary, Death – It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of the passing of a much-loved member of the BCC family. Please accept our condolences. Everyone will think kindly of this person and hold them in the highest respect possible. This person will be remembered.
Ray Whalley was a club member for life and over the course of its history, he made significant contributions to the club’s prosperity in a variety of different ways. The members of the club were unanimous in their assessment that he was a kind and sympathetic individual, and they are going to miss having him as a member of the group.
During this trying time, our thoughts and prayers are with his family; in the meanwhile, please accept our warmest condolences. (Ray) After a long and fulfilled life, (Ray), a resident of Barlaston, passed away on December 24, 2022 at the County Hospital in Stafford.
(Ray) had been there for almost a decade. He could look back on 84 years of life. A loving and loyal husband to his wife Beryl, a doting father to his daughter Paula, a cherished grandfather to his granddaughter Rebeccca (Becky), and a trustworthy friend to his son Mark.
Many people are going to miss him tremendously. Ray was survived by a great number of friends and members of his family, including his brother-in-law, uncle, and cousin; all of these people will experience a profound sense of loss as a result of Ray’s demise.
In two o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, the 25th of January, Ray will be put to rest at St. John the Baptist Church in Barlaston. The service will take place in the afternoon. Will those of you who are the closest to us and hold us in the highest regard kindly assemble at the church?
Please do not send anything other than flowers to the family unless you have received explicit instructions to do so. If you or anyone you know is able to make a contribution to The Douglas Foundation in Ray’s honor, we would be tremendously appreciative.
