Phil Tanner Obituary, Vice Chairman ,Reading Swimming Club, UK, Has Sadly Passed Away

Phil Tanner Obituary, Death – We were saddened to learn of Phil Tanner’s departure on the 18th of January, 2023, and it is with utmost regret that we convey this information to each and every one of you. Over the course of several years, Phil volunteered a huge amount of his time and energy to the Berks and South Bucks Amateur Swimming Association and served as Vice Chairman of the Reading Swimming Club. In addition, Phil was a member of the Reading Swimming Club. During this difficult time, we want his wife Karen, daughter Holly, and the rest of his family to know that we are thinking of them and extending our condolences.  We also want them to know that we are sending our condolences.

To be specific, in North Augusta, in the state of South Carolina! On the way there, I wanted a drink, so I stopped at a convenience store to get one. As I got closer to the counter, I could see two deputies from the sheriff’s department watching a woman who was smoking while she pumped gas. The moment I laid eyes on her, the first thought that came into my head was, “Is this lady stupid, crazy, or is she just tweaking?” In particular, when one takes into account the fact that the Officers are standing RIGHT THERE. On the other hand, the fact that she was at this gas station strongly suggests that she was tweaking. In any case, I made sure not to get in the way of anyone else’s business and went inside to get a drink.

I was in the process of paying when I heard a scream from somewhere else in the store! I’m referring to piercing wails of agony in this particular context! When I looked up, I could see that the woman’s arm was on fire. As soon as I did so, I could see it. She looked as though she had completely lost her mind, swinging her arm and running around in circles. When I went to get a drink, and then when I walked out the door, the officers had already had the woman on the ground, and they were putting out the fire!! Following that, they handcuffed her hands together and stuffed her into the backseat of the police car.

I couldn’t help but be curious in the circumstances surrounding her arrest. It was impossible for me not to consider the possibility that she should be transferred in an ambulance rather than a police car. Being the inquisitive individual that I am, I wanted to know the reason why they were arresting her, so I asked the officer why they were doing so. After giving me a severe look, the officer exclaimed in front of everyone, “Waving a Firearm in Public!” and pointed his gun at me. It would be interesting for me to learn which of my closest friends actually read all of this. If you did, please copy and paste the following into your browser’s address bar to see who believes you!
