Although many people in Lymm will have known him as the town crier, he was so much more than that and was active in so many other community activities in the village that it is impossible to mention them all. In fact, it is impossible to name all of the community activities in which he participated. When people talk about what sets Lymm apart and its one-of-a-kind community spirit, they are describing the example that people like Peter set for us.
Furthermore, when people talk about what makes Lymm extraordinary, they are describing the example that people like Peter set for us. He had a profound attachment to his hometown, both in terms of its history and its current state. It was manifest in each and every action that he carried out. As a result of Peter’s affable personality and gentlemanly bearing, he was well-known to a significant number of individuals in Lymm. The great contributions that he made to Lymm Village won’t be forgotten any time soon. We extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends and say that he will be much missed by everyone who knew him. Peter was a dedicated and devoted citizen of Lymm who volunteered his time to advance the well-being of the community for both its inhabitants and its visitors. We shall miss having him around.
