He was able to enjoy his life until the very end. He had a prosperous and full life up until the time of his passing. During the final moments of his life, he was attended to by members of his devoted family who were positioned on all sides of the bed. Since both of his parents, Charles Richards and Velma McGaffick Richards, had passed away before the birth of their son,
he was born on June 14, 1952 in East Liverpool, Ohio. His parents’ names were Charles Richards and Velma McGaffick Richards. Before he was even born, both of his parents had already passed away. He was the son of his mother and father. After spending some of his working life as the owner and manager of Richards Garage in Ohioville, Paul went on to spend a significant portion of his professional life working as a switchboard operator at the Beaver County Courthouse. Richards Garage was located in Ohioville.
He continued to work at the courthouse even after it was no longer possible for him to do so, despite the fact that his vision had deteriorated to the point where he was unable to drive. People’s memories of him, which will carry on the legacy he left behind, will carry on his hilarious and generous spirit long after he has passed away, carrying on the legacy he left behind. Launa Wetzel, his wife of 34 years, passed away before him, joining his parents as members of his immediate family who had died before him.
She was preceded in death by his parents. It was she who acted as a replacement for her right away after the situation arose.
