Norma Fields Obituary, Death – At 8:02 in the morning on Saturday, December 24, 2022, Jean Fields, who was 94 years old and from Upland, Indiana, passed away at the University Nursing Center in Upland. She was born to John and Mary (Blackburn) Burns in Upland on June 26th, 1928. Her parents brought her into this world. The wedding took place on August 28, 1954, and Jack E. Fields passed away on November 1, 2015. She had a strong commitment to her faith, as seen by her regular attendance at church and devotional Bible reading. Jean has previous experience working for RCA and Gayle’s Studio, and she most recently served in ministry at the First Baptist Church. Her most recent religious affiliation was with the Lighthouse Assembly of God. Jean was a sweet and gentle woman who was known to be a compassionate mother and grandma. She had a deep affection for her family, and she placed the utmost importance on them.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Susan (David) Rose, of Noblesville, Indiana; her four grandchildren, Stephanie Auler of Marion, Indiana, Stacie (Nick) Vetor of Noblesville, Indiana, Samantha (Zach) Callahan of Anderson, Indiana, and Shelbie (Jeremy) Tarter of Fishers, Indiana; and her ten great-grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Taylor, Becca, Allie, Norah, Olivia, Tinley, Bodie, and Dalton Her parents, three siblings, Glen (Bob) Eversole, Bonnie (Roy) Anderson, and Annie Burns, as well as a grandson-in-law named Christopher Auler, all passed away before she did.
College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services is located at 4601 South Western Avenue in Marion, Indiana 46953; these arrangements have been entrusted to them. A private service for the family will be held there, and burial will take place in Grant Memorial Park in Marion after that.
