Miles Krueger, Lake Central High School basketball player has died

Miles Krueger Obituary, Death – Miles was related to Ryan Shelton, an administrator at the IUN. Everyone here at WJOB and JEDtv is keeping Coach Shelton and his family in their thoughts and prayers. At the age of sixteen, our dearly loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend Miles Krueger passed away in a calm and peaceful manner. Miles played for many years at Schererville Baseball in addition to being a junior at Lake Central High School where he also participated in basketball.

He was the master of practical jokes and delighted in making other people laugh. Miles adored attending sporting events, particularly those involving the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Hawks, and Chicago Bears. He also followed Notre Dame football.

In lieu of sending flowers or making financial contributions toward Miles’s funeral costs, his family has requested that anyone who is able to do so make a contribution to a scholarship memorial fund that will be established in his loving memory. This fund will benefit a Lake Central High School student each year who may not qualify for high-academic achieving or athletic scholarships but who aspires to attend college or a trade school.

The Miles Krueger Memorial Scholarship Fund is going to be supported by the proceeds of an event that will be held on an annual basis by the family. At the Elmwood Funeral Chapel located at 11300 W. 97th Ln. in St. John, Indiana 46373, the memorial services for Miles will be held on January 1, 2023, from 1 until 5 p.m., with prayer services beginning at 5 p.m. However, there is no time limit that can be provided. Please get in touch with Amanda Krueger or Ryan Shelton directly if you wish to make a contribution of one thousand dollars or more. GoFundMe
