Michael Winter Obituary, Death – Winter Darlington died quietly on January 5, while surrounded by the loving family that he had treasured his entire life. He’d spent his entire life working for them. Michael “Mick,” his lifelong companion, was not only a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, but also a dedicated father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Michael had been by his side for the whole of his life. On Thursday, January 26, memorial ceremonies were held in memory of those who had died the day before. We request that you and all of your friends attend the ceremony and committal at St. John’s Church in Bank Top at 11:00 a.m.
The service will be held in memory of your deceased loved one. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and ask that you accept our sincerest apologies. Your request will be considered, but flowers will not be sent. In lieu of traditional flower arrangements, the family wishes that memorial contributions be donated to The Dogs Trust, Sadberge. Your contribution will be highly regarded. We will miss Mike greatly because of the tremendous and positive impact he had on the lives of so many people, and because he inspired others to be charitable. He was able to make a major difference in the lives of many people by routinely greeting members of the staff, other residents, and visitors with a kind and enthusiastic greeting. He did this throughout his whole tenure at the facility.
Mike was eager to interact with a diverse group of people since he enjoyed the company of others and believed that doing so would benefit him. He was always willing to help others, was always courteous and polite, and was always willing to help others. He was always willing to help others. As his movements were never motionless, he was always doing something. Mike, my heartfelt hope and prayer are that you may soon be able to find some peace in your life.
