Michael C. Milbrodt Obituary, Death – On Thursday, January 12, 2023, Michael C. Milbrodt, age 47, from Noxen, passed away at his house without experiencing any pain or any distress before his passing. Before he was born on March 6, 1975 in Kingston, his parents, Emmett Milbrodt and Violet Higgins, both departed away. He was their son. Emmett Milbrodt passed away first, followed by Violet Higgins.
Michael was a member of the Lake-Lehman High School class of 1993 and graduated with his classmates that year. He worked for a period of time at the Monahan Masonry before moving on to other endeavors. Michael was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed a wide range of hobbies, such as hunting, fishing, camping, driving construction equipment, and giving back to his community through volunteer work.
He held the position of engineer at the Noxen Volunteer Fire Company, where he was a member of the organization. He had a significant amount of involvement with the organization. Michael was a loyal member of his family in every capacity: as a husband, as a father, and as a son.
His nephew Emmett, Jr., and his brothers John and Emmett, as well as his niece Sam, all perished away before he did. The first members of his family to pass away were both of his parents. Those who were left behind when he passed away include his son Mikey, daughter Kortinie, and brother Chris. His wife of 21 years, the former Debra Vogel, is also among those who were left behind.
The family will hold a private service at a time that is most suitable for them. Arrangements will be made to this effect.
Instead of sending flowers, the family politely asks that contributions in the form of money be made to them directly so that they can help alleviate the costs connected with the departure of their loved one. The arrangements are being handled by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc. in Pikes Creek, which can be found at the crossroads where highways 29 and 118 meet.
