The collision caused the victim to suffer death injuries. The name of the woman who was driving one of the autos that were involved in the accident that took place on Friday evening in Rockford and ended in her death has been made public by the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office. The tragedy took place in Rockford. There were two additional vehicles involved in the collision. After further investigation, it was found that the woman in question was Melissa Ashby, who was 24 years old at the time. Rockford is the city where she was both born and reared.
The collision happened late on a Friday night in the community that is bounded by Springfield Avenue and Safford Road. It was in this area that the victim was found. According to statements made by witnesses to the Rockford police department after the occurrence, a collision involving a pickup truck and another vehicle had a place. The witnesses were present at the scene.
After being transported to the hospital, the woman who had been riding in the other vehicle, whose name was subsequently determined to be Ashby, unfortunately, succumbed to her injuries and passed away shortly after her passing. It was confirmed that Ashby had died.
