Matthew Colarusso is the devoted son of the late John Colarusso and Mary (McCormack) Colarusso. He was born in Laconia, New Hampshire. Matthew attended Moulton Academy and was a product of the Moultonboro community in New Hampshire, where he was raised. After that, he got his bachelor’s degree in business from Merrimack College in Andover, where he studied for a while. He spent the majority of his career working in corporate recruitment, most recently for Commonwealth Financial Network, where he was responsible for hiring new employees.
Matthew, a skilled athlete, was recruited to play baseball at Merrimack as a pitcher. After graduating, he continued to play baseball in a number of different leagues. Matthew wed the woman who would become the love of his life, Theresa, and the couple eventually made their home in North Reading, where they are now raising their two sons, Taygen and Mason.
He loved going camping and spending time outside, especially at Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. He also spent a lot of time in his backyard by the firepit. Matthew was a well-known figure in the community of North Reading, and he never passed up an opportunity to get involved in his children’s academic pursuits. Matthew will be remembered for his kindness and generosity, as well as his quirky sense of humor, his love for his family, and the love he had for his many friends. Everyone whose life he touched, as well as his devoted and loving family, will grieve his passing in their own unique ways.
