Martha Russell Obituary, Death – Martha Ellen Russell, who resided in Cullman passed away on the 31st of December 2022 at the age of 78 years old. She passed away in the company of her family within the boundaries of her own home, where she had lived for the majority of her life. On February 16, 1944, she was brought into this world by her parents, Samuel S. Blair and Maudie L. Blair, who were overcome with delight at the arrival of their daughter. They felt a great deal of happiness because of this event. Her spouse Wayne Madison Russell, both of her parents, her brother Jerry Blair, and her husband all passed away before she did.
Her death came as a surprise to everyone. She was the only member of her direct family that was still alive when she passed away. Her son, William Paul Mote, along with her grandchildren William Cody Mote, George Dakota Mote, and Lisa Nicole Mote, along with her great-grandchildren Jessie A. Mote and Hudson Reed Mote, along with her sisters Mary Blair, Lois (Stanley) Jones, and Delora (Preston) Jones, along with a large number of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends, are among the members of her family. Martha’s funeral will be held at the Cullman Heritage Funeral Home in Cullman, Alabama, on January 4, 2023, at eleven in the morning local time. At this point, neither the time nor the date have been selected for the event. Following the funeral, her corpse will be laid to rest in the Spring Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Reverend Terry Blankenship, who will preside over the event. A visitation will take place in the morning, between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00, prior to the event that will take place in the afternoon. This visitation will take place between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00.
