Maria Antão Obituary, Death – Maria Augusta Gaspar Robalo Anto, who was 100 years old when she went away, passed away in a calm manner on the eve of the New Year at the residence of her son in Chino Hills, California. She had reached the age of 100 when she passed away. At the time of her passing, she was embraced by her devoted family members on both sides. Maria was born in Casegas, Covilh, and in 1962 she immigrated to the United States with her three children in order to join her husband, who at the time was living in Newark, New Jersey. Maria’s husband had been living in Newark since the time of their marriage.
When Maria and her family moved, Maria’s husband was serving in the military of the United States. Her two daughters uprooted her and took her to Southern California when her husband abandoned the family in the year 2012, and she remained there till the time of her own dying. Her husband had left the family. The family had been abandoned by her spouse. dedicated and loving mother of Joaquim Dias Baptista and his wife Clarissa Ferrer Baptista, Arnaldo Dias Baptista and Palmira Marques, and Lurdes Dias Baptista Relvas and her husband Joaquim Craveiro Relvas; cherished grandmother of Marlene Relvas and Rosali Relvas Jaramillo; and cherished great-grandmother of Gabriela Faustino and Liliana Vasquez of Newark, New Jersey
Maria will be laid to rest on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 8:30 in the morning at the Buyus Funeral Home located in the surrounding region. In the state of New Jersey’s city of Newark, the funeral home can be found at 426 Lafayette Street, which is situated in close proximity to where Wilson Avenue is. Following that, we will make our way to the Church of Our Lady of Fatima, which is located in Newark, where the Funeral Mass will be said at 9:30 in the morning. Following that, the funeral and subsequent interment will take place at the Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum in North Arlington, New Jersey.
