Mallory Dunnivant Obituary, Death – A man and a woman were brought into custody following a terrible shooting that took place at an apartment complex in Mount Morris on Wednesday evening. The incident occurred at around 7 p.m. Officers from the Mt. Morris City Police Department raced to an apartment located in the 11000 block of Harvard Court at approximately 6:50 p.m., where they discovered a 35-year-old woman who had been shot in the abdomen. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. It was a very serious situation for her. The victim was hastily transported by ambulance to Hurley Medical Center, but after she arrived at the facility, it was determined that she was no longer alive.

Two people, one male, and one female have been taken into custody by the police in connection with the shooting, and according to the police report, there are no further suspects still at large. Because they had not been hauled before a judge for arraignment as of Thursday afternoon, their identities had not been made public yet. This was due to the fact that they had not been charged. At any point during the day on Thursday, neither of the two suspects was permitted to be removed from the custody of the Genesee County Jail. The male suspect is being charged with twenty separate crimes, including one count of first-degree murder and a fourth habitual offender notice. Among the charges against him is the first-degree murder count. Both of these offenses could result in a sentence of life in prison without the chance of ever being released from custody.

The female suspect is being probed for a total of four distinct offenses, the most serious of which are acting as an accessory after the fact to a felony and tampering with evidence. The officials have not offered any information regarding a possible motive for the shooting, nor have they revealed whether or not the suspects knew the victim who was shot. In addition, the authorities have not stated whether or not the suspects knew the victim who was shot.
