Mallory Crutcher Obituary, Death – According to the Marshall County Coroner, a body was found in a ditch on Friday in Marshall County, Mississippi. The location of the discovery was not specified. According to the reports, the dead body of a black guy, who was assumed to be in his forties at the time of his discovery, was discovered at the intersection of Highway 302 and Barton DeSoto Road. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the victim, as stated by Major Kelly McMillen of the department.
The investigator stated that at this time they were waiting for the results of an autopsy to come back. According to McMillen, the coroner has seized ownership of the body, and he or she is currently in direct contact with the medical examiner’s office in Jackson in order to have this body examined and provide us with information regarding the manner in which the deceased went away.
According to McMillen, they were called to the scene just after 3 o’clock today, and when they arrived, they found him lying on his back with a backpack on. McMillen also stated that he was wearing the bag. Because of the information that was found in the backpack, the authorities were able to correctly identify the victim.
They are currently working together with the Collierville Police Department and the United States Marshall’s Office, and they are requesting assistance from the general public. The letter stated that it was important to find a male of Caucasian descent who was operating a U-Haul truck. It’s not completely out of the question that he has red hair. “A witness shared this information with us,” McMillen added. “We are grateful to them.”
Due to the fact that there were no obvious evidence of blunt damage on the body, McMillian believes that the driver of the U-Haul may have been responsible for dumping the victim there. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who might have information to get in touch with them as soon as possible.
