Lucinda Withrow Obituary, Sims, Illinois Resident Has Died, Aged 77

Lucinda Withrow Obituary, Death – Lucinda F. Withrow, 77, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 7:40 am while residing at the Aperion Care facility in Fairfield. She had her roots in the town of Sims in Illinois. In the past, she has worked as a nurse in a variety of healthcare facilities, such as nursing homes, clinics, and hospitals. Some of these facilities are Fairfield Memorial Hospital, Wayfair Nursing Home, and Cisne Healthcare. Lucinda Farris entered this world on February 26, 1945 in the community of Merriam, Illinois. Her parents were named George and Alice (McKitrick).  On March 30, 1974, she tied the knot with Elmore Withrow, the man with whom she would spend the remainder of her life.

Surviving members of her family include her husband of 48 years, Elmore Withrow of Sims, her six sons Clinton (Tina) Withrow, Clifton Withrow, and Jeremy Withrow all of Sims, Clayton (Carla) Withrow and Michael (Melissa) Withrow both of Wayne City, IL, and Todd (Christine) Withrow of Glencoe, MO, twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren, and a brother Ray (Fay
Her two children, Kathy Withrow and Susan Trotter, as well as her parents and four brothers, Carl Farris, Richard Farris, Marion Farris, and Bennie Farris, all went away before she did. Her parents were also deceased before she did.

Funeral services for Lucinda Withrow will be place at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield on Friday, January 27, at 11 a.m. Ms. Withrow passed away on January 21. Following the conclusion of the funeral services, Lucinda will be laid to rest in the Arrington Prairie (Dickeyville) Cemetery, which can be found to the north of Sims. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 26, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Memorial contributions to the FMH Auxillary will be graciously accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, which is responsible for making the necessary preparations. In lieu of customary floral tributes, memorial contributions may be made to the FMH Auxillary.
