Lesley Land Googlebox Obituary, Longtime publicist at Channel 4 has passed away

At the conclusion of the show on Friday night, Gogglebox paid tribute to Lesley Land, a publicist who had worked for Channel 4 for a significant amount of time (December 9). On December 3, Lesly passed away at the age of 41. A straightforward message was used by the show to express gratitude to the publicist who had worked on the successful show. It was inscribed with the words “In loving remembrance of Lesley Land. 1981-2022.” After eight years at Channel 4, most of which were spent working on famous factual and entertainment series like Gogglebox, The Big Narstie Show, and The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan, Lesley decided to leave the company.

Shortly before her passing, she had just finished up her work on the antisemitism-focused documentary that “Jews Don’t Count,” which was directed by comedian David Baddiel. When she passed away, Channel 4 released the following statement: “Everyone at Channel 4 is very saddened by the news that our long-standing colleague and friend, Lesley Land, passed away last Friday.”

She was the driving force behind many of Channel 4’s most memorable press campaigns over the past decade, including “Gogglebox,” “Baby Hospital,” “The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan,” “Stand Up To Cancer,” “TFI Friday,” “The Big Narstie Show,” and “Miriam & Alan,” all of which she delivered with her signature flair and panache.

“Her most recent work was titled “Jews Don’t Count,” and it was published in 2013. She stated that she had never been more proud to work on a program as she was at that moment. The following is a continuation of what was said in the previous paragraph: “Lesley was a lovely friend, a generous coworker, and made tremendous fun wherever she went.” But in the end, family was the most important thing in Lesley’s life. “During such a trying time, our thoughts and prayers are with them. She was cherished by everyone who met her, and her absence will be keenly felt by all.
