Lesley Cordero Obituary, Death – Lesley Cordero of Hamilton, Ontario has unexpectedly passed away. She had established her principal residence in Vidor, where she had spent a significant amount of time. Lesley was a member of the congregation at the Turning Point Church downtown Vidor, which can be found in Vidor. In addition to teaching cosmetology at Vidor High School, she was also a member of the congregation there. One of her favorite things to do was explore new places, and whether they took her to Arkansas, down the river, on boat excursions, to go dancing, hunting, or fishing, she always enjoyed being outside and participating in the various activities that they did.
Traveling was another one of her favorite things to do. One of her most cherished activities was embarking on new adventures. Lesley valued the opportunities she had to interact with other people, particularly the time she got to spend with her loved ones, her closest friends, the other members of her extended school family, and the various students she had the privilege of instructing. She took a great deal of pleasure in her profession, particularly the connection she shared with the young people, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand to whoever was in need of support. She had a lot of enthusiasm for her job.
She is survived by her mother Nelda Bass of Vidor, Texas, her husband Billy Newman, to whom she had been married for 12 years, their children Emberleigh Steele and Trevor Newman of Vidor, Texas, her brother B.J. Bass, sister Toni Bass and Lindsey Bass, as well as a large number of nieces and nephews whom she cherished deeply. In addition, she leaves behind a large number of nieces and nephews who were very important to her. Her father, Jeff Bass Sr., had already passed away before she was ever conceived, thus he never got to meet his granddaughter.
