Les Holt Obituary, Former Jewish Telegraph Sales Director Has Died At 90

Les Holt Obituary, Death – Les Holt, who passed away at the age of 90 after serving as the group sales director at the Jewish Telegraph for a quarter of a century, worked there. He held that position for the entire quarter of a century. After working in the Jewish press for over half a century, Les reached the age of retirement in March 2020. At that point, he was well-known to hundreds of different advertisers because of his time spent working in the industry. This was due to the fact that Les had worked at the establishment.

Paul Harris, the editor of the Telegraph, summed up the sentiments of the publication when he said that they were “very unhappy to receive the news.” Les will be remembered as a person who had a lovely personality in addition to being a salesperson who worked in the conventional sense. He will be much missed. His voice was the one that was heard on the other end of the line by consumers who used our automated phone system more than a quarter of a century ago. This was the situation with regard to the Telegraph.

In addition to being the parent of a young kid named Russ, Les is a widower who is married to a woman named Trish. On Monday, January 23, at 10 o’clock in the morning, his cremation will take place at the Blackley Crematorium in Manchester. His funeral will be held there. The date is the 23rd of January.
