The blaze took place on December 1. The fire broke out on the first of December. The fire that was started took the lives of a total of four people before it was brought under control. A man by the name of Leroy Elliott IV, who was 36 years old, a woman by the name of Terrin Hendricks, who was 32 years old, and their four daughters, who were 13, 9, 8, and 5 years old, respectively, have been identified as the victims of the incident.

The Office of the Tuscarawas County Coroner was the one who supplied us with the information that we required for our investigation. On December 26, at about 1:30 in the morning, a fire completely gutted a home that was situated in the 400 block of Spaulding Avenue in the neighborhood of Spaulding. The blaze began in the kitchen but quickly spread to the rest of the house. When the fire crew arrived, they found that the entire building had been destroyed by the flames that had been requested, despite the fact that the flames had been extinguished.

Even though the house had been reduced to a pile of ashes by the time the fire was put out, DNA testing was still required in order to positively identify family members. This was the case despite the fact that the house had been destroyed. This was the circumstance that prevailed in spite of the fact that the house had been totally destroyed by fire. The office of the State Fire Marshal is continuing the follow-up investigation despite the fact that authorities have reported that a variety of heat sources including wood-burning heaters, kerosene heaters, and electric space heaters had been used inside. Despite the fact that the investigation is still being carried out, this is the situation that has arisen.
