Leona Capon Obituary, Death – Leona (Tower) Capon passed away in the comfort of her own home on the 15th of January, 2023, the day that would have been the couple’s first wedding anniversary together as a married couple. Her husband was by her side, and she was surrounded by her family. We are making this announcement with the utmost sadness in our hearts. Along with her mother Maxine (Jerry), she is survived by her husband Michael, her children Michelle (Jonathan) Capon, Stephanie (Jamie) Capon, Sarah Tower, and TJ Hart; her nephew Kyle Hunter; her grandchildren Annabelle, Charles, Harland, Isabella, Rachel, Sidnee, Leighton, Bodhi, Cooper, and Brooklyn; her sisters Darlene Hunter-Arsenault, Charlein Hunter, and Paula George; her brothers Lawrence Capon, her father-in-law, had already passed away before she did. She was the one who died first.
For the care and compassion shown to her over the past few years while she has been ill, particularly on the day of her wedding, her family would like to express their gratitude to the medical staff at CRHCC and VON, the Commissionaires of Canada, the dialysis ladies, and Dr. Dan. Her family would also like to thank Dr. Dan. The A. H. Brown Funeral Home is located in Springhill, Nova Scotia at 5 McFarlane Street. The city is in the province of Canada. In accordance with the wishes that Leona expressed in her will, her corpse will be cremated, and there will be no memorial service given in her honor. Donations to the Salvation Army or another charity of the donor’s choosing may be donated in Leona’s memory in place of flowers, as this was Leona’s wish. The family thanks you in advance for your generosity.
