Because she had such an effect on all of us, it is difficult to convey in an appropriate manner the effect that she had on our group no matter how much terminology is used because she had such an impact on us.

This is due to the significant impact that she had on all of us. In all that she did, Aunty Lei embodied the aloha spirit, which plays a pivotal role in the customs and practices of the Hawaiian culture. We are positive that she had a substantial impact on the lives of a very wide number of distinct individuals because of the manner in which her generosity appeared to permeate every site that she went to. We are filled with appreciation that we were given the opportunity to love her, and that her love was returned to us in equal measure. Both of these things have caused us to feel extremely grateful.

Because of this, we are thankful that we were able to spend some time with her before she left. Because of her kindness, the memories that she gave upon each individual member of our hui will, without a doubt, be etched into each of our minds for the rest of our lives. This will be the case regardless of how long any of us live. She was a big factor in our hui’s choice to proceed in a particular direction, and that decision was largely due to her input.
