Lauren graduated from HHS in 2001 and USC in 2006. She was a CPA, but her priorities were family. Her faith, husband, children, and large extended family were important to her. She kept in touch with Hinsdale and prioritized July 4th.

She overcome hardships most others couldn’t even comprehend, yet she never asked, “Why me?” She battled cystic fibrosis, graduated from USC, and married before undergoing a double lung transplant at 30. She had three children before her three-week cancer struggle, during which family members cared for her 24 hours a day. Her children remember her as a hero, leader, optimistic, and inspirational. Lauren will be missed forever, but we believe in Jesus Christ and will see her again. Lauren answered, “Yes.” Lauren’s life will be celebrated in Vista, California, on January 20, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Please wear blue to honor Lauren.
