Lauren Delgany Obituary, Death – When our lovely daughter Lauren abruptly passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at the age of two, we were holding her in our arms in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin. The cause of her passing was unknown. As we make this announcement, our hearts are breaking, and we are overcome with an overwhelming sense of loss. We will never forget our lovely little ray of sunshine, Lauren, who filled up every room with her infectious smile and giggle, love of having fun and being around people, and the way she danced her way through life. We will always remember her.
She was the happiest young child there ever was, in spite of the fact that her life was cut tragically short, and she is survived by her parents, Lisa and Matt, as well as her older brother, Jack, as well as her grandparents, Lillian FitzGerald and Margaret and Peter Boland, as well as her aunts and uncles Emma, Ross, Sonny, and Pri, her cousins Jake and Isobel, and all of her other friends. Her life was cut tragically short Our most recent and most precious addition to our family, our newborn daughter, will live on in our hearts and minds forever. We will never be able to forget her, and she will remain a part of us forever.
This is something that will always be the case for both of us. In addition, we honor the life of John FitzGerald, Lauren’s grandfather, who passed away not too long ago. He passed away recently. A sincere thank you goes out to everyone at Our Lady of the Children’s Hospital in Crumlin who worked so diligently and tirelessly in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit there. On Tuesday, January 24, at 11.30 a.m., The Angels’ Service will be conducted in The Church of the Assumption of the BVM located at Castle Street in Dalkey, County Dublin.
