Larry Grose’s close friends and family members are having a difficult time coming to terms with his loss since it has left a hole in their hearts. A post that was made public on Facebook by the user @Calvin McKenney informed us of the passing of Larry Grose, and this information was brought to our attention.

Larry was a good person, and many people will think kindly of him in the years to come because of this. There have been no public remarks made by the family of Larry Grose on the circumstances surrounding the passing of their loved one or the cause of death for their loved one’s passing. Grose, Sr., age 72, a resident of Belleview, Florida, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Ocala Regional Medical Center in Ocala. He had been battling congestive heart failure for a significant amount of time prior to his passing. He was born in Montgomery, West Virginia, and was the son of the late Arthur H. Grose and the late Mary Ransom. Both of his parents passed away before him.

The year 1982 was the one in which he traveled all the way from West Virginia to Belleview. In addition to working as an automotive technician, he also had a job as a service sales writer. He was an avid follower of NASCAR and vintage autos, and he enjoyed visiting the Orange Blossom Opry in Weirsdale whenever he had the chance. He put in 19 years of service at Grundy Auto Sales before taking early retirement, and even after he stopped working there, he was still a familiar face there on a daily basis.

His children, Larry D. Grose Jr. and his wife Jan of Ocala, Florida, as well as his daughters, Lora Grundy and her husband David of Belleview, Florida, and Sandy Strickland of Ocala, Florida, will miss him tremendously. His grandchildren will also remember him fondly. All three of the Stricklands’ children referred to him as their grandfather, namely Jamie Jo Strickland, Marshall Strickland, and Mia Strickland.

Among the persons, he leaves behind are his family members Rosemary Kirkdorffer, his sister, and Charles Ransom, his brother, both of whom reside in Indiana. Not only had he lost his wife, but also his brother, Donald Grose, passed away before him. An event to honor the life of the individual who passed away will take place on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, which can be found at 5946 SE Robinson Road in the city of Belleview, Florida 34420.
