Larry Brogdon Obituary, Death – On January 15, 2023, at the age of seventy years old, Larry Dean Brogdon, who had lived in Arenzville for his entire life, passed away at the Springfield Memorial Hospital. He had lived there his entire life. Larry Dean Brogdon had spent his entire life in Arenzville, where he still resides. On September 1st, 1952, he was born in the city of Jacksonville to his parents, Loyd Brogdon and Mildred Dixon Brogdon. His grandfather was also named Loyd Brogdon. He was better recognized by his given name, Loyd Brogdon Jr. Both of his parents bore the same names: Loyd and Mildred. He was named after his father.
He is survived by his mother, one son, Dean (Maire) Brogdon of Springfield, and five brothers; Dale (Vicki) Brogdon of Kure Beach, North Carolina, Michael (Dorothy) Brogdon of Chapin, Randy (companion, Monica) Brogdon of Concord, Jeff (Pat) Brogdon of Missouri, and Steve (companion, Silke) Brogdon of Germany, as well as his dog, Snowflake. His mother resides in Missouri Missouri is where his mother makes her home. His mother is also still with us, and Larry has spent a significant portion of his life working as a farmhand in the area around Chandlerville. Both of his parents are still with us. In addition to that, he worked for JB Hunt and a huge number of other businesses in the capacity of a truck driver.
A memorial service will be held on the morning of Monday, January 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville, and the burial will immediately follow at the Antioch cemetery. This date and time are subject to change. There is no prior notice required for any changes to be made to this date and time. Viewing at the funeral home will begin on Monday at ten in the morning and will continue nonstop right up until the time of the funeral service. The visitation will take place at the funeral home.
