Kris Lager Obituary, One Heart Equestrian Therapy Mourns Kris Lager’s Death

Kris Lager Obituary, Death – On January 4, 2023, Kris Lager, executive director of One Heart and co-founder of the organization, passed away at his home. Lager was the one who was responsible for the early development of the organization. Everyone will experience loss in their own special way in response to her demise.

Without her and the enthusiasm that she has for the organization, there would be no such thing as One Heart; yet, she will continue to be a part of it in the foreseeable future. If she were not involved, the organization would not be around today. We are going to be going on a “Walk On” and cycling trip in the spring.

On the 13th of January, the wake will be held at the Rasmussen-Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada, Iowa from 4-7 pm, and the funeral service will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Nevada, Iowa on the 14th of January at 10:30 am. Both events will take place in Nevada, Iowa. Both establishments can be found in Nevada, Iowa.

Visitation is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, the 13th, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions honoring Kris can be made to One Heart Equestrian Therapy. She truly valued the time and effort you put into supporting this organization. Later on in this year, we are going to have a number of additional memorial services for Kris in the One Heart barn.

These will all be held in his honor. Everyone in the One Heart community is in the forefront of my mind and prayers at this time. During the very first year of school, I assisted her as one of her assistants while also working for her as a volunteer. When I was a little child, I was active in 4-H, and I loved horses. Kris was the ideal of a sincere and compassionate leader, and she made it possible for SO much to happen. I am thinking of Kelly and Lucy and sending my best wishes their way.
