KJ Montgomery Obituary, Cleveland, Ohio, Shaker Heights Judge Has Died From Stroke

KJ Montgomery Obituary, Death – KJ Montgomery, a retired Shaker Heights Judge has sadly passed away from stroke on Saturday, January 14, 2022. KJ was a true leader for justice, fairness, equality. She was a long-time CMBA member, leader and champion. KJ was born in Cleveland on June 29, 1953. In 1974, she received her Bachelor of Music degree from Heidelberg College. Juris Doctor, John Marshall School of Law, 1977. K. J. worked as the Assistant Law Director for the City of Bedford Heights, Ohio, and as the Chief Legal Counsel for the Bedford Heights Charter Review Commission from 1977 to 1988.

She served as an advisor for the Bedford Heights Income Tax Department from 1977 until 1988. K. J. Montgomery is listed as a reputable judge in Marquis Who’s Who. She was a member of the Northern Ohio Municipal Judges Association, the Legal Aid Society, the Hard Hatted Women, the Greater Cleveland Bar Association, the Cuyahoga County Women’s Political Caucus, the Cuyahoga County Bar Association, the Court Nisi Prius, and the Cuyahoga County Law Directors Association. She married Lawrence N. Schultz Montgomery on September 10, 1977.
