Kim Currin Obituary, Owner of Glassworks – Kim Currin Creations Gallery and Studio Has Died

Kim Currin Obituary, Death – The unexpected death of Kim Currin is causing the community downtown to be in mourning. Wednesday brought the terrible news that she had passed away. The loss of a friend, a supporter, an advocate, and a volunteer is absolutely heartbreaking. Everyone who knew Kim considered her a friend due to her kind nature and warm friendship. She was a creative person and the proprietor of two businesses: Glassworks Kim Currin Creations Gallery and Studio and Church Street Candle.

She and her husband Barry were the first people to purchase a piece of the Old Woolen Mill, which is where they now house their enterprises. She is very excited about the opportunities for expansion that lie ahead. Downtown was her favorite part of the city, and she and Barry put in a lot of hard work to promote local events and businesses on the Cleveland Life website and in the Heartbeat brochure. She has been a member of the Mainstreet board of directors for the previous six years. Kim will be missed very, very much. Our sincerest condolences go out to Barry and her son Grant, as well as the rest of her family and a large number of friends, on behalf of the board of directors of MainStreet Cleveland.
