Katelyn Caruso Obituary, An Occupational Therapist at Excel Orthopedics has died

Katelyn Caruso Obituary, Death – Katelyn Caruso, 31, a lifelong resident of Reading has passed away. She was a 2010 RMHS graduate.  She was an Occupational Therapist at Excel Orthopedics. She was a lifelong member of St Athanasius Parish and the Holy Family Parish in Gloucester. According to a Facebook post” Our family would like to thank all the family, friends, coworkers, patients, caring acquaintances, priests and deacons who attended the Mass for Katelyn. Especially like to thank St Athanasius and Deacon Bill Reidy for putting the service together for her so everyone could gather pray and support her. We thank those who also couldn’t be there but sent their prayers as well.

The outpouring and prayers for her were just amazing! We are so Blessed that she is surrounded by so much love! We sat by her bedside as she was showered in prayers from all of you. There really are no words to express our immense gratitude for the prayers, love and support you have shown for all of us but especially Katelyn. She is a special person in so many ways and this outpouring shows that. Please continue to pray for her and our family during this time.

According to social media post; Our daughter Katelyn is a lifelong resident of Reading, a 2010 RMHS graduate and current resident of Reading, where she recently purchased her first home. She is an Occupational Therapist at Excel Orthopedics, a career she is passionate about and loves so much! She is a lifelong member of St Athanasius Parish and the Holy Family Parish in Gloucester as well. We have been beyond Blessed to have her in our lives for the past 31 years. We are forever grateful for this gift from God! Honestly words can not express what she means to our family.
On 12/28/2022, Katelyn unexpectedly experienced a cerebral brain hemorrhage and cardiac arrest, during a morning workout. She is in very critical condition at this time. We are asking for prayers from the community to help her recovery move along. Prayers are what she needs most at this time. Please pray for Katelyn, her doctors and her care team that God looks over them, guides them in critical decisions and helps her heal. The power of prayer is an amazing thing and we believe this is the best support her family, friends, coworkers, neighbors and caring acquaintances can give her right now. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the prayers, blessings, love and support that has been sent to our family. We are forever grateful for this outpouring of love and support!
