Karen Keegan Obituary -Those of us who knew Karen Keegan is stricken with an overwhelming sense of loss after learning of her passing. She was gifted in many areas and had a witty personality. Not only did she make an impact on the lives of people in the field of jewelry making through her work as an event coordinator, but her profession in education also gave her the opportunity to give students the confidence to pursue higher education.
Her participation in a program that hosts Irish students has left a true legacy behind because of how she and her family made the pursuit of peace a priority. May the memory of her be a benefit to her loved ones as well as to all of us. Sophia was just telling me about you and your wife this morning as we were talking about one other.
Prayers, and hugs, to you. We would like to extend an invitation to the community to participate with us in honoring the life and memory of Karen Keegan. On Friday, the 13th of January, we will get together at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home (1400 Kirkwood Hwy) 9:30 am – 10:00 am Exclusive Get-Together With the Family 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Open Memorial Elsmere Fire Hall (1107 Kirkwood Hwy) 11:00 am – 1:30 pm.
Reception with Open Doors and Complimentary Drinks To celebrate the creative spirit that was Karen, we encourage guests to come dressed in whatever colors and styles are most comfortable to them. She would frequently assert that “there is no such thing as too much sparkle,” and I couldn’t agree more.
