Kane Bowen Obituary, Man Killed After Deadly Shooting At Downtown Winston-Salem Bar

Kane Bowen Obituary, Death – An investigation has been opened by the Winston-Salem Police Department into a fatal shooting that took place at a well-known bar in the downtown area.
It happened on Thursday around 1:15 in the morning at Burke Street Pub, which is situated in close proximity to the crossroads of Burke Street and West First Street. A woman had a minor injury after being grazed by a bullet, and the police have confirmed that one male was shot and died in this incident. Late in the morning on Thursday, the relatives of the victim disclosed that the person who had been killed was a man named Kane Jacob Bowen, who had been 30 years old at the time of his death. The dead body of Bowen was reportedly found inside the business, as reported by the police.

Later, the authorities were successful in apprehending William Drake, who is now being investigated for various crimes, one of which is murder in general. Bowen and another customer were shot by Drake when they were inside the business but still outside on the street, according to the police. According to the statements made by the police, Drake did not know either of the victims. However, according to the police, he was acquainted with another patron who was present inside the institution where he was having a dispute that was still ongoing when the incident occurred.
Drake is facing additional accusations of assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm into an occupied home, and possessing a handgun while having a prior conviction for a felony.

These charges were added after he was accused of shooting a firearm into an occupied property. At this time, Drake is being detained at the Forsyth County Detention Center without the possibility of a bond being set. During this difficult time, Bowen’s employer, Celestial Wellness, has announced that there will be a candlelight service held at the Big Winston Warehouse location of Celestial Wellness on Friday, January 20 at 5:30 p.m. in order to pay respect to Bowen’s memory. The service will take place at the Big Winston Warehouse location of Celestial Wellness.
