Judy Dennis Obituary, Death – The funeral service for Judy Elaine Townsel Dennis, who passed away on January 18, 2023 at the age of 73, was held in Florence. She had reached the age of 73 when she passed away. She devoted herself wholly to the responsibilities of being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother throughout the course of her life. It has been wonderful having her here with us, and we are going to miss that. If you knew her, it was impossible not to fall in love with her. You just couldn’t help it.
You were undeniably the most wonderful mother that any member of our family, at any time in the course of human history, could have asked for. Visitation hours at the Greenview Funeral Home will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023, beginning at six o’clock in the evening and continuing until eight o’clock in the evening. On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at eleven o’clock in the morning, a memorial service for Stanley Minor “Skeet” will get underway in the chapel of the funeral home.
The service will be held in memory of Stanley Minor “Skeet.” Skeet is going to be in charge of presiding over the service. Immediately after the service, the body will be transported to Greenview Memorial Park in order to be laid to rest. It has been requested that Bobby Long, Tabias Hood, John Bugg, Wyatt Bugg, and Broc Delia serve as pallbearers at the funeral. Additionally, Johnny Craft has been solicited for his participation. Mrs. Dennis’s sister JoAnn Townsel Clement and both of her parents, Odell and Era Townsel, passed away before she did.
Mrs. Dennis herself passed away. Before Mrs. Dennis, all three of Mrs. Dennis’s relatives had already crossed over to the other side (Larry Clement). She is survived by her husband, Donnie Dennis, who resides in Florence; their daughters, Stacey Dennis (Tabias) of Lakeland, Tennessee, and Haley Bugg (John) of Florence; their sister, Ginger Craft (Johnny), who also resides in Florence; and their grandchildren, Broc Delia of Denver, Colorado, Hana Grace Delia of Florence, and EmmaLee Bugg and Wyatt Bugg, both of Florence.
She is laid to rest in the Florence Memorial Park Cemetery The Florence Memorial Park Cemetery is where her body has been laid to rest. In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or any other cause that is important to you. To accommodate the request that was made by my mother, I would appreciate it if you could dress in a manner that was less formal. “Come as you are,” was one of her catchphrases, and she truly meant it.
