John Jay high School Shooting – On Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., a number of rounds were fired into the air near John Jay High School. As a result, the school went into a modified lockdown and increased their security measures. The law enforcement agency that is responsible for preserving order in the region has informed the authorities about the event in question. John Jay High School can be found in the most western part of San Antonio on the area known as the West Side.
The shooting did not result in any of the individuals who were targeted by it sustaining any injuries as a result of the exchange of fire. Ten to fifteen rounds of ammunition were shot from the weapon in total. In total, the weapon was fired ten to fifteen times. The only piece of information that is currently known about the individual who pulled the trigger is that they were a relative of a John Jay student, as stated by Sergeant Chris Waclawczyk of the San Antonio Police Department.
